GLOBAL G.A.P. CERTIFIED

GLOBALG.A.P. is a farm assurance program, with the G.A.P. acronym standing for Good Agricultural Practices. The aim was to bring conformity to different retailers' supplier standards It is now the world's most widely implemented farm certification scheme and is a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) recognized audit scheme. Unlike other farm certification schemes, it has definitive rules for growers to follow, and each production unit is assessed by independent third party auditors. Cal-Ore Produce is proud to have all of our growers Global G.A.P. Certified.

PrimusGFS

Cal-Ore Produce's facility is certified by PrimusGFS, which is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized private scheme that establishes food safety requirements for the certification of agricultural produce. PrimusGFS establishes series of requirements for managing of the production, handling, processing and storing operations to ensure consumer’s safety in each productive stage.

USDA Certified Organic

All of our organic potatoes are USDA Certified Organic. This guarantees that the only agricultural products that have ever been used in the growing process of our organic potatoes are natural composts and/or products certified for organic use by an approved agency including OMRI and the WSDA.
